Welcome to Aerial Athlete. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your participation in our aerial silks classes, private lessons, workshops, and events.
By booking a class, lesson, workshop, or event, or otherwise using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Aerial Athlete provides aerial silks instruction and related fitness and dance services, including:
-
In-person aerial silks classes
-
Private aerial silks lessons
-
Workshops and special events
-
Other related instruction or activities that may be offered from time to time. Class schedules, locations, pricing, availability, and program details may change at any time.
2. Participant Eligibility
Aerial silks is a physically demanding activity that requires strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and physical exertion. Participants must meet any age, skill-level, or physical requirements specified for the particular class, lesson, workshop, or event. Both adults and minors may participate in our programs.
Minors
Participants under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian before participating. A parent or legal guardian may be required to complete and sign all required registration, consent, medical-information, assumption-of-risk, and liability-release forms on behalf of the minor.
We reserve the right to require a parent or legal guardian to remain present during a minor’s participation when appropriate.
3. Assumption of Risk
Aerial silks and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, slips, collisions, muscle strains, sprains, bruises, fractures, dislocations, and other serious injuries.
Participants voluntarily choose to participate and understand that injuries may occur even when proper instruction, equipment, supervision, and safety procedures are provided.
Participants agree to follow all instructions provided by the instructor and to use the equipment only as directed.
Participation may require completion of a separate liability waiver and release. These Terms do not replace any separate waiver or informed-consent document that may be required before participation.
4. Safety Rules
For the safety of all participants, participants must:
-
Follow all instructor directions and safety instructions.
-
Use aerial equipment only when instructed and supervised.
-
Not attempt skills beyond their demonstrated ability or assigned level.
-
Inform the instructor of any injury, illness, physical limitation, pregnancy, or other condition that may affect safe participation.
-
Not participate while under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment or physical ability.
-
Wear appropriate clothing and remove or secure jewelry and other items that could interfere with equipment or create a safety hazard.
-
Treat instructors, staff, other participants, and facilities with respect.
The instructor may refuse or discontinue a participant’s participation if the instructor reasonably believes the participant is acting unsafely or poses a risk to themselves or others.
5. Health and Medical Responsibility
Participants are responsible for determining whether aerial silks and related physical activity are appropriate for them.
Our instruction is not medical advice, physical therapy, or medical treatment. Participants should consult an appropriate healthcare professional regarding any medical concerns or conditions that may affect their ability to participate safely.
Participants are responsible for promptly informing the instructor of any relevant injury, limitation, or change in physical condition.
6. Registration and Payment
Registration is not complete until payment has been received and any required forms have been completed.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate and current registration information.
Prices for classes, private lessons, workshops, and events will be displayed at the time of booking and may be changed for future bookings.
Unless otherwise stated, payment is required at the time of booking.
7. No Cancellations or Refunds
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds or cancellations for classes, private lessons, workshops, or events.
By purchasing a service, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
If you are unable to attend a scheduled class, lesson, workshop, or event, the payment will not be refunded or credited unless Aerial Athlete expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Nothing in this section is intended to waive or limit any rights that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.
8. Changes or Cancellation by the Instructor
Although participant purchases are generally non-refundable, Aerial Athlete reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, relocate, or modify a class, private lesson, workshop, or event due to circumstances including instructor availability, facility issues, weather, safety concerns, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we cancel an activity and applicable law or our stated policy requires a refund, credit, or alternative arrangement, the applicable remedy will be provided.
9. Private Lessons
Private lessons are scheduled in advance and are subject to instructor availability.
Participants are expected to arrive on time and prepared to participate. Late arrival does not necessarily extend the scheduled lesson time.
Private lessons are subject to the same safety requirements, payment terms, and participation requirements described in these Terms.
10. Workshops and Events
Workshops and special events may have specific requirements, schedules, skill levels, age limits, equipment requirements, or additional terms.
Any additional terms communicated during registration are incorporated into these Terms.
11. Equipment and Facilities
Participants must use all aerial equipment and studio facilities responsibly and only as instructed.
Participants must not adjust, move, install, inspect, or modify aerial apparatus, rigging, mats, anchors, or other equipment unless specifically authorized to do so.
Any equipment or facility concern should immediately be reported to the instructor or staff.
12. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
Aerial Athlete is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property brought to classes, lessons, workshops, or events.

Participants may be required to sign a separate assumption-of-risk and liability waiver before participating. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
